Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does keepsake embroidery work?
Keepsake embroidery is a creative and timeless way to preserve special memories. You send me a piece of sentimental clothing (like a baby outfit, loved one’s shirt, or wedding fabric), and I carefully turn it into a custom embroidered design. Each piece is handled with care and stitched to create something you can treasure forever.


2. What can I send for a keepsake piece?
Most soft fabrics like cotton, jersey, flannel, and denim work beautifully. Baby onesies, t-shirts, sweaters, hospital blankets, etc., are perfect for keepsake embroidery. Please avoid muslin or extremely thick fleece. If you’re unsure about your item, just send me a photo or message before ordering and I’ll confirm if it’s a good fit!


3. How long does it take to make my order?
Custom and keepsake pieces take 10–14 days from the DAY I RECEIVE YOUR ITEM(S). If you need a rush order for a special occasion, please message me before placing your order to see if I can accommodate your request.


4. How can I get my keepsake item(s) to you?
If you are local to Hazlet, New Jersey - send me a message and we can arrange a drop-off time. If you are not local, you will ship the item(s) to my house. You will receive an e-mail with instructions after purchase.


5. Can I send multiple clothing items for one piece?
Yes! I can combine fabrics from multiple items into one special design. Be sure to submit any special requests in the "Order Special Instructions" box located in your Cart.


6. How many clothing items do I send you?
Feel free to send as many as you want. I can use a different piece of clothing for each letter of your customized text. For example: One "MAMA" sweatshirt would require a minimum of one Newborn/3-Month size onesie OR multiple items. Two MATCHING sweatshirts require a minimum of one 6-Month (or larger) onesie OR multiple items.


7. Will my keepsake be washable?
Yes. I include a Clothing Care Card in each order. Turn inside out, machine wash cold, and tumble dry on low. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron.


8. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each piece is handmade and customized just for you, I’m unable to offer returns or exchanges. But if there’s ever an issue with your order, please contact me and I’ll do my best to make it right!


9. Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. I ship to any and every state within the continental United States. I will send you detailed shipping instructions for mailing your keepsake item(s) to me safely.


10. What is the brand of sweatshirts?
Gildan. Crewnecks, hoodies, and tee-shirts are pre-shrunk, unisex fit.


11. What sizes do you carry?
Small-3XL, with sizes varying by color. Please note that sizes 2XL and 3XL are an additional $5 each.


12. Do you rush items?
Yes, when I am able to. Rush items have a 5 days (or less) turnaround time from the TIME I RECEIVE YOUR ITEM(S). Rush fees begin at $20 and they are subject to inventory. If you need a rush order, please message me before placing your order to see if I can accommodate your request.


13. Do you return the leftover clothing items?
Yes. If there are any leftover fabrics/items, they will be returned with your purchase. 


14. How is the shirt/sweatshirt sizing?
I provide the Gildan sizing chart within each product listing.
